Sleeper Train: Country's first Vande Bharat train will run from Gorakhpur, will travel to Delhi in 12 hours

Sleeper Vande Bharat Train: According to the information received, the country's first Vande Bharat train will be run from Gorakhpur city of UP. The Kalamkar News, Digital Desk- New Delhi: North Eastern Railway has prepared a proposal to run Sleeper Vande Bharat between Gorakhpur and New Delhi. Indian Railway Time Table Committee (IRTTC) meeting is going to be held in Jaipur from 10 to 12 April.

A decision regarding this train can be taken in this meeting. Senior officials of every railway zone participate in the meeting. The officers included in the committee discuss about running new trains, increasing trips or changing routes.

According to the proposal prepared by North Eastern Railway, this train will run three days a week. A proposal has been made to run trains at night from Gorakhpur. This train will travel from Gorakhpur to New Delhi in 12 hours.

If approval is given in the meeting, then this train can be included in the time table to be released in July and can be run from Gorakhpur.

There has been a demand for a direct train from Gorakhpur to New Delhi for a long time. At present a Vande Bharat train runs from Gorakhpur to Prayagraj. According to the proposal, the sleeper Vande Bharat Express will leave Gorakhpur at 10 pm and reach New Delhi at 10 am the next day. That means the journey from Gorakhpur to Delhi will be completed in just 12 hours.

Gorakhpur-Okha Express will run by changing its route.

Construction work is going on at Bina station of Bhopal division of West Central Railway. Due to this, operation of many trains will be affected on different dates.

According to Chief Public Relations Officer Pankaj Kumar Singh, 15045 Gorakhpur-Okha Express running on 11, 18, 25 April and 02 and 09 May will be run via the diverted route Gwalior-Guna-Maksi.

15046 Okha-Gorakhpur Express running on 14, 21, 28 April and 05 and 12 May will run via Maxi-Guna-Gwalior. Apart from this, 15024 Yesvantpur-Gorakhpur Express departing on 11th April will run via Manak Nagar-Aishbagh-Malhaur- Barabanki
