The Kalamkar (UP News): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has banned the approval of multi-storey buildings around prestigious temples in religious towns. On Monday, the planned development authorities of Gorakhpur, Varanasi and Mathura-Vrindavan reviewed the GIS-based Master Plan-2031.

The Chief Minister said that the antiquity and historicity of religious cities, which are identified with temples or other iconic buildings, should be preserved. This is why high height buildings should not be allowed around them.

Instructions for taking out buses

The Chief Minister said that traffic system in cities is a major issue. Use electric buses in the city. Buses with old fuel should be kept away from the city. Choose the right location for multilevel parking.

He said that there are a lot of possibilities in every big city of the state. GIIS 2023: There is huge investment in every district. In such a situation, clear areas should be determined for Medical City, Sports City, Education City and Convention Center in the master plan of Mathura-Vrindavan, Gorakhpur and Varanasi. It should be ensured that 15-16 percent will be reserved for green area in the master plan of every city. Anywhere there is a green belt, a new colony should not be established there.

Important role of housing sector

The Chief Minister also said that with the construction of the new colony, facilities of roads, sewer, electricity and water will be available there. The Chief Minister said that the housing sector has made an important contribution in making the state's economy a one trillion dollar economy.

It is mandatory to build new cities around special economic zones and industrial areas. World class convention centers should be built in all development authorities. Local bodies should ensure that illegal residence does not occur under any circumstances.
