What is HSRP?
HSRP stands for High-Security Registration Plate, this high security number plate is an aluminum made number plate, which is fitted at the front and rear of the vehicle.
There is a blue colored Chromium-Based Ashok Chakra hologram on the left side above the HSRP. A unique laser-branded 10-digit PIN is given on its lower left corner. Let us now know how you can order them.
How to apply HSRP number plate?
One can apply for a new or replacement HSRP number plate from the official website of the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM).
To apply for HSRP number plate, details like vehicle registration number, chassis number and engine number are required.
Apart from this, you will also need a phone number that can receive a one time password, email ID and a UPI ID or credit or debit card to make online payments. To apply this you will have to follow some steps…
- For this, first go to http://www.siam.in and click on “Book HSRP” in the upper right corner.
- Here enter the details like your name, vehicle number, phone number, email address, state and district, click on Agri checkbox. Select and click on submit.
- After this, on the next page, select your district and select the type of your vehicle i.e. whether your vehicle is 2-wheeler, 3-wheeler or 4-wheeler.
- After this, select the brand of your vehicle. Depending on the brand, you will be redirected to one of these four websites: bookmyhsrp.com, orderyourhsrp.com, getmyhsrp.com, makemyhsrp.com.
After this, on the next page enter the vehicle number, chassis number and engine number and enter your details like address, phone number and email address and make the payment to complete your order. If you choose the in-store fitting option, you will also need to select a date and time slot.
There is no cash on delivery option on this website and first payment has to be made to get HSRP number plate.
