JEE Main 2024: Exam starting from January 24, these guidelines will have to be followed at the exam center

JEE Main 2024: JEE Main exam is going to start from January 24, so the candidates appearing in the exam do not have much time left. Know here which guidelines are necessary to follow at the exam centre.

The Kalamkar News, JEE Main exam conducted by the National Testing Agency consists of two papers, one for engineering and the other for admission to B.Arch/B.Planning courses. Candidates can check the admit card and other details related to the exam on the official website jeemain.ntaonline.in. 

More than 12 lakh registrations took place

More than 12 lakh candidates have been registered for JEE Main Session 1, which is considered to be the second toughest examination in the world. 

2.5 lakh students who qualify in this will get a chance to appear for JEE Advanced exam. After this, successful students will be able to study from top engineering institutes of the country like IIT, IIIT, NIT.
Guidelines of JEE Main 2024

1. All candidates will have to reach the center at least half an hour before the commencement of the examination, if late, they will not be allowed to enter the exam hall.  
2. As soon as you enter the exam centre, sit on your allotted seat in the hall, so that important instructions are not missed.
3. Candidates can contact the helpline number given on the NTA website in case of any problem with the JEE Main 2024 admit card or the examination centre. 
4. Candidates are advised to read and follow the instructions given on the admit card properly.
5. It is necessary to carry JEE Main Session 1 Admit Card and Self-Declaration Form with you, otherwise you will not be allowed to enter the examination centre. 
6. Only ball point pen, transparent bottle of water and one extra photograph to be placed on the attendance sheet are allowed in the examination hall.
7. Write your name and roll number clearly on the rough sheet. It is necessary to hand it over to the invigilator before leaving the exam hall. 
8. There is no permission to carry mobile phones, electronic devices and study material in the examination hall.
9. Candidates should also take special care of the dress code. Boys should not wear clothes with too many pockets and girls should not wear any kind of jewellery.
10. Candidates who are suffering from diabetes can take fruits and medicines with them with permission.
