This year also many car companies have increased the prices of their models. Mahindra is also included in these. Mahindra has increased the prices of its cars. 

Its Scorpio-N has also become expensive. As far as the Z6 variant of Scorpio-N is concerned, along with increasing the price, the company has also reduced some features. 

That is, on one hand, customers will now get less features in the Z6 variant, while on the other hand, they will have to pay a higher price for it.

What changed in Mahindra Scorpio-N Z6?

Before the 2024 update, the Z6 variant came with an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment unit, which included Mahindra's AdrenoX interface and wireless Android Auto/Apple CarPlay. 

It included connected car features and built-in Alexa for voice-enabled requests. The mid-spec Scorpio-N got a 7-inch TFT multi-information display for the instrument cluster.

Now after the update, the Z6 variant has become costlier by Rs 31,000 and the features mentioned above are also not available. It now gets a 7-inch infotainment unit, which only supports wired Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. There is no connected car technology in it. 

There is now a 4.2-inch monochrome display for the instrument cluster. Mahindra also used to offer a cooled glove box as standard in its Scorpio-N but now it has been limited to only the top-spec Z8 and Z8L variants.

price and competition

It is noteworthy that the prices of Mahindra Scorpio-N currently range from Rs 13.26 lakh to Rs 24.54 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). It is a more rugged option compared to Mahindra XUV700, Tata Harrier/Safari and MG Hector/Hector Plus.
