Going to Ramji's city Ayodhya will become even easier... New bypass will be built at a cost of Rs 3600 crore

The Kalamkar News, Road Transport Ministry Plan for Ayodhya: People visiting Ram Temple will get better road connectivity along with airport and train in the coming time. Yes, new planning is being done by the government in this regard. 

The Road Transport Highway Ministry has requested special approval from the Central Government to prepare a 68 km long greenfield bypass in and around Ayodhya at a cost of Rs 3,570 crore. 

National Highway Authority (NHAI) has invited tenders for 4/6 lane highway. The new bypass will pass through Lucknow, Basti and Gonda districts.

The number of vehicles will increase to 2.17 lakh

Due to increase in the movement of passenger and goods vehicles after the inauguration of Ram Mandir, this project has been divided into North and South Ayodhya Bypass. 

At present there is a daily traffic of 89,023 vehicles. Keeping 2033 in mind, it has been estimated that it will increase to 2.17 lakh vehicles in the coming time. 

The bypass will be built on the basis of PPP model. According to the news published in Economic Times, the Road Ministry has sought special approval for this.

The bypass will be built under the PPP project.

In fact, the Finance Ministry has advised not to start any new project under Bharatmala at present. Apart from this, the cost of this project is more than Rs 1,000 crore. Therefore, the ministry requires approval from the apex committee that evaluates the PPP project. 

The aim of NHAI is to complete the construction work within two and a half years. To boost infrastructure in and around Ayodhya, the UP government has planned to invest Rs 85,000 crore under the Master Plan 2031 to turn Ayodhya into an economic and tourism hub.

The re-development plan has focused on infrastructure. The number of tourists in the district has already increased from 0.6 crore in 2021-22 to 2.3 crore in 2022-23. 

The number of beds in hotels has increased to 3,322. The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) and the PWD department of the UP government are focusing on projects worth Rs 10,000 crore and Rs 7,500 crore respectively. 

Ayodhya Dham railway station is being equipped with modern facilities at a cost of Rs 430 crore. Maharishi Valmiki International Airport, built at a cost of Rs 328 crore, is also available for passengers.
