20 lakh people will get permanent houses in Uttar Pradesh, know who will be able to avail the benefit

PM Housing Scheme: The Indian Central Government has announced to provide houses to 3 crore people in rural and urban areas under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. Out of these, 15 to 20 lakh houses are to be given to Uttar Pradesh.

Urban Development Agency: The Indian central government has given many gifts in its first budget. The central government has announced to provide 3 crore houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. Out of these houses, it is expected that Uttar Pradesh will get about 15 to 20 lakh houses. 

In the previous project also, 17.70 houses have been allotted in Uttar Pradesh. The urban development officer says that after the announcement of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, the people of Uttar Pradesh will benefit to a great extent.

According to the information received, 40 lakh houses are needed in UP. After this, after the survey in the second phase, it will be completely known in which areas houses have been allotted in the previous scheme.

Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana has four phases. The first is In Situ Slum Redevelopment Project. In this project, houses are built for the people living in slums at the same place. The second phase is Affordable Housing Scheme through loan based subsidy. Under this project, people who build houses by taking loan are given financial assistance. Affordable Housing Project in Partnership. 

Under this project, it is run through Development Authority and Housing Development Council, in this a financial assistance of Rs. 2.5 lakhs is paid to the house buyer. The fourth phase is Beneficiary Based Individual Housing Construction Project. Under this scheme, money is given to those people who have land available for building a house.

Uttar Pradesh will get 7736 crore rupees from tax alone

Out of the Rs 02 lakh 23 thousand 737 crore share that comes to Uttar Pradesh from the central taxes and duties collected through GST, the maximum amount will come from Income Tax. 

Uttar Pradesh will get Rs 77376.30 crore from Income Tax. It will get Rs 67180.75 crore from the Central Government in the form of Corporation Tax, Rs 66841 crore from Central Income Tax, Rs 9878 crore from Custom Duty, Rs 2082.3 crore from Union Excess, Rs 7.5 crore through Witness Tax. The total share of Uttar Pradesh in central taxes is 17.939 percent. Considering which, in this financial year, Uttar Pradesh will receive a total amount of Rs 223737.23 crore.
