Union minister told the master plan, a bank and a milk union will be set up in every district

Milk Producers Union: Union Home Minister Amit Shah said that a target has been set to form a cooperative bank and a milk producers union in every district of the country. He said that in the coming 5 years, primary agricultural credit committees will be formed in 2 lakh such panchayats in the country. In the districts where no government institution of any kind has been formed.

Amit Shah said that the Union Cooperative Ministry is going to take an important step. He said that as per the plan made by the government, there will be no state in the country where there is no District Cooperative Bank and District Milk Producer Union. 

There are two lakh panchayats in the country where there is no government committee. A target has been set to build these 2 lakh multipurpose PACs in the coming 5 years.

Work will be done on FPO 

The Union Minister said that the government is going to bring the National Cooperative Policy soon. Under this, 1100 farmer producer organizations will be formed across the country. Along with this, more than one lakh PACS have also accepted the new bye-laws. 

Amit Shah said that the National Cooperative Development Corporation will prove effective in the welfare of cooperative institutions by issuing bonds worth 2000 crores. 

NABARD will also take decision 

NABARD and state government banks have been requested to make arrangements for tax and other cooperative institutions to open their accounts in district or state cooperative banks. 

So that the cooperative sector can be strengthened. He told that the central government has established Cooperative Organic Limited to promote organic products and provide proper support price to farmers doing organic farming. The Union Minister said that the National Agricultural Cooperative Marketing Federation of India and consumer cooperative institutions will also buy four types of pulses at 100% MSP.
