According to the Meteorological Department, due to the effect of Western Disturbance, there are chances of rain and hailstorm along with thunderstorms and strong winds in Rajasthan (rajasthan weather update), Haryana, Delhi, UP and Madhya Pradesh on April 15.

According to weather forecasting agency Skymet (IMD weather forecast) , the western disturbance is located 3.1 to 12.6 kilometers above sea level in the eastern part of Afghanistan and adjacent Iran. At the same time, the Indian low pressure area is located over south-west Rajasthan and surrounding areas and the associated cyclonic circulation and extends up to 3.1 km above the mean sea level.

Apart from this, an east-west trough extends from the cyclonic circulation associated with the low pressure area over south-west Rajasthan to eastern Jharkhand through south Uttar Pradesh and south Bihar up to 1.5 km above mean sea level. A cyclonic circulation has formed over Comorin area.
At the same time, a trough/disruption is extending from the above cyclonic circulation over Comorin area to Konkan and Goa via Kerala and Interior Karnataka. A cyclonic circulation has formed over Assam.
