Comet competes with Tata Tiago EV in the market. Prices for the Tiago EV start at Rs 7.99 lakh, going up to Rs 11.89 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) for the top variant. Before the launch of Comet, it was the cheapest electric car.

Currently, the starting price of Comet is Rs 1 lakh less than Tiago EV. The price range of Comet EV starts at Rs 6.99 lakh and goes up to Rs 9.14 lakh (ex-showroom) for the top variant. Till some time ago it was available in only three variants - (Executive, Excite and Exclusive) Executive, Excite and Exclusive, but now apart from these, there are also two new variants - Excite FC and Exclusive FC, which are 7.4kW AC ( fast charging).
