Mahindra Last Mile: Mahindra Last Mile Mobility Limited (MLMML) has introduced its new electric four-wheeler Mahindra ZEO. This electric four-wheeler van with great range has a starting ex-showroom price of Rs 7.52 lakh.
At the same time, the highest version is Rs 7.99 lakh. The new Zeo is available in two different delivery vans and pickups. It is available in two battery options. It has 18.3 kWh and 21.3 kWh battery packs.
Mahara ZEO Electric Features and Specifications
The company said that ZEO is a 'zero emission option'. The company says that compared to a diesel small commercial vehicle, Mahindra ZEO can save customers Rs 7 lakh in seven years.
That is, the owner will save Rs 1 lakh every year. Under various conditions, the company has tested this electric four-wheeler for more than five lakh kilometers. Its real world range is 160 km.
Its electric motor generates a maximum power of around 41 bhp and a peak torque of 114 Nm. The top speed is 60 km/h. The company claims that the 2500 mm long wheelbase gives stability in all driving conditions.
The ground clearance of 180 mm allows Mahindra ZEO to run on even the worst roads. Mahindra said that the DC fast charger can give a range of 100 km in 60 minutes. So that customers can save more money by driving more.
Mahendra ZEO also has a charger option. It also includes a 3.3 kW on-board home charger, which will take seven hours to fully charge this four-wheeler. Also, the fast AC charger can fully charge the ZEO in 3 hours.
Mahindra ZEO has a battery pack with IP67 rating. These meet the highest AIS038 High-Voltage Battery Safety standards. Also, Mahindra ZEO has Hill Hold Assist feature, which prevents the vehicle from falling on the slope.
With a payload capacity of 765 kg, Mahindra ZEO Electric comes with NEMO telematics system, which provides real-time data access and fleet management. From the safety point of view, the latest Mahindra ZEO includes Driver Monitoring System (DMS) and AI-support camera.
This includes lane departure warning, headway monitoring, driver behavior analyst and pedestrian collision. ZEO also has two driving modes. The first is Eco and the second is Shakti. Hindira also offers a warranty of 1.5 lakh km or seven years on its ZEO Electric Cargo.
