Thieves stole cash worth Rs 1 lakh and jewellery worth lakhs of rupees from a house in Chatargarhpatti area of ​​Sirsa district.

Sirsa : In Chatargarhpatti area of ​​Sirsa district, thieves broke into a house and stole jewellery worth lakhs of rupees and cash worth 1 lakh rupees. 

Thieves are emboldened in Sirsa district. Incidents of theft and snatching are being reported every day somewhere in the district. After this theft, on the complaint of the house owner, the Civil Lines police station has registered a case against unknown people and started investigation.

The house owner Pritam Singh, resident of Chatargarhpatti informed the Civil Lines police station that he had gone for some work on Thursday morning. After this, his family members, wife Praveen, sister-in-law Suman and brother Kuldeep Singh went to the Gurudwara.

When he returned home in the evening, he found all the things scattered in the room. The cupboard and furniture lockers were also open. We immediately checked the cupboard and found Rs 1 lakh cash, a gold necklace, a ring, a locket and a gold chain missing. The family members informed him about the incident over the phone.

Homeowner Pritam Singh told the police in his complaint that the police has been informed about the incident. After this, the police of Huda Chowki inspected his house. Police investigating officer Satvir Singh said that a case has been registered against unknown people. Soon the thieves will be identified and arrested.
