The Kalamkar News (UP News): Uttar Pradesh Housing Development Council has given funds for the development of Ayodhya, Kashi and Mathura. New residential schemes will be developed in these cities, which will have international amenities.

The budget was approved in the Housing Development Board meeting on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Additional Chief Secretary Housing Nitin Ramesh Gokarn. New Housing Commissioner Dr. Balkar Singh said that the development of religious and cultural cities will not stop. The board has passed the income and expenditure budget of Rs 3402.32 crore.

In the financial year 2024-25, Housing Development Council will spend Rs 1540 crore on land acquisition. Only Adhyadhya, Kashi and Mathura will spend Rs 1200 crore out of this. Rs 600 crore will be spent in Ayodhya, Rs 300 crore in Mathura and Rs 300 crore in Varanasi. 

Apart from this, Awas Vikas will spend Rs 582.44 crore on construction and development in the upcoming financial year. 80 percent of the funds will be spent on the development of these cities. Housing development will also spend Rs 644.21 crore on deposit works of other departments.

Five new ponds will be built in Ayodhya for housing development: Uttar Pradesh Housing Development Council will build five new bathing ponds in Ayodhya. A pond will be built in the five kilometer long Saryu canal proposed in the Ayodhya scheme of Housing Development Council. Water from Saryu river will be available in it.

Booking of houses and land in many cities

Also, booking of plots and buildings will be opened for many housing schemes in the housing development financial year 2024-25. Among these, Ayodhya scheme of housing development is the most important. 

Registration of houses and plots will open here also. Apart from this, there will also be residential schemes in Mathura-Vrindavan and Varanasi. Therefore, Awas Vikas has set a target of earning Rs 1650 crore from the sale of plots. PM Awas Yojana will earn Rs 120 crore.
