MP News: Water crisis will now happen except for one day, well will be built in the pond with public cooperation

MP News: The water crisis is deepening due to less rainfall last year. Now the city council will supply water every other day. The water pond located near Patidar Mohalla in Sardar Bhai Patel Chowk of Merawat has been destroyed. 

Besides, the water level of Jeeran pond has also decreased. This Ghazal crisis is beginning to deepen. Poonamchand Patidar and Rajendra Patidar said that such a situation did not exist even during the scanty rains of 2003 to 2005.

How many wells does the Municipal Council have? 

Let us tell you that the Municipal Council has 12 wells. Out of these, water supply is being done only from 4, now there is shortage of water also. Apart from the Council, 10 tube wells were acquired. But there is no water in them. Water is being supplied to the city by filling tankers from 4 tube wells.

A new well will be built  

Besides, a well is also being built in the pond. After this, there is a possibility of getting relief from the water problem. CMO Nandlal Prajapat said that there is shortage of water due to less rainfall. Of the 12 tube wells of the council, 4 have water, 8 have dried up. 

The Council had acquired 10 tube wells. Of these, 3 have water. To solve the water problem, Rs 51 thousand has been collected from the contribution amount. With this a well will be built in the pond. So that we can get relief from water crisis.
