Greater Noida Authority has increased the allotment rates of all its properties by 5.30 percent. This has made it more expensive to set up a house, shop and industry in Greater Noida (Greater Noida Rate Hike). The new rates will be considered effective from April 1.

A board meeting was held on Saturday under the chairmanship of Authority Chairman Manoj Kumar Singh. The Authority has fixed the property allotment rates for the financial year 2024-25. The rates of all types of properties have been increased by 5.30 percent. The increase in rates was approved in the meeting. An order related to this will be issued by the Finance Department soon.

In the meeting, the board approved several important proposals including construction of Exhibition Convention Centre in Sector Chai, development of cargo terminal near Dadri, supply of Gangajal in all 58 sectors by the end of this year, abolition of registration fee for pet cats and dogs, allotment rate of nearby sector on increased area of ​​Kisan Abadi Plot.

There are many development projects coming up in Greater Noida and Greater Noida West, including ambitious projects like Greater Noida West Metro, Multimodal Logistic Hub and Transport Hub. Property allocation rates are determined every financial year in view of the development projects.

Increase in compensation amount of farmers possible: Due to increase in allotment rates of all types of properties of the authority, farmers affected by land acquisition can also get its benefit. The compensation amount given to the farmers may increase. 

For development projects, the authority is preparing to acquire the land of 21 villages on the basis of consent. Information related to this has been issued. CEO of Greno Authority Ravi Kumar NG, CEO of Noida Authority Dr. M Lokesh, ACEO of Greater Noida Authority Medha Rupam, ACEO Saumya Srivastava etc. were present in the board meeting.

Additional FAR approved on both sides of Metro corridor

The Greater Noida Authority Board on Saturday approved additional FAR (Floor Area Ratio) for all categories of plots located at a distance of 500 meters on both sides of the proposed Metro Corridor from Noida to Knowledge Park-5 of Greater Noida West. 

While this decision will promote residential and commercial activities, the authority will also benefit financially. A prescribed fee will have to be deposited on obtaining permission for additional FAR. This will benefit those whose plots are around the corridor.

There will be no fee for dog registration now

The revised policy for dog registration has been approved in the board meeting of Greno Authority. The fee for dog registration has now been abolished. According to the revised policy, now there will be no fee for dog registration. 

Registration will continue for a year instead of three months. If someone complains about non-registration, it will be investigated. If the case is found to be true, a fine of Rs 2000 will be imposed.

Mobile companies will not be able to install towers arbitrarily

The Greater Noida Authority Board has approved the policy for installing mobile towers. Mobile companies will no longer be able to install towers arbitrarily. 

Now, to install a mobile tower in a park or green belt, the mobile service operator company will have to apply to the CEO on the prescribed format. The applicant will have to deposit a bank guarantee of Rs 3 lakh in the authority's account as compensation.

Cargo terminal to be developed near Dadri

Gati Shakti Cargo Terminal will be developed near Tilpata Container Depot in Dadri area. This project has been approved by the Greater Noida Authority Board. This will give new impetus to development in the area. 

Under the PM Gati Shakti Yojana, a cargo terminal will be developed here on about 260 acres. This land is located near Pali and Makoda villages. According to the authority, this will provide employment opportunities to about 15 thousand people. It will also become the main logistics hub of the NCR region.
