This electric car has come to beat everyone, see the range and features

The Kalamkar News: Chinese electric car manufacturer Build Your Dreams (BYD) is preparing to launch a new electric car in India soon. The company has recently launched Atto 2 mini electric SUV in the Chinese market. 

When launched in India, it is expected to be a tough competitor to Tata Motors' Nexon electric SUV. With a front-wheel-drive layout, the new electric SUV is based on BYD's new third generation 3.0 electric car platform. It will be positioned between the Dolphin hatchback and Atto 3 crossover in the company's lineup.

Apart from China, BYD Atto 2 electric SUV will also be available for sale in the European market by 2025. The company is also making its mark in the rapidly growing Indian auto market. 

BYD Atto 2 can also be introduced in the Indian market. In this segment, this SUV is going to compete with the upcoming Maruti Suzuki EVX, Hyundai Creta EV and Tata Curve as well as Tata's Nexon EV. If we talk about price, it can be launched in the price segment of Rs 12-16 lakh.

Blade will be equipped with battery

BYD is famous worldwide for its advanced and safe Blade Battery Technology batteries. In BYD Atto 2 also, the company is using blade battery which comes with fast charging time and fire proof technology. 

It can be provided with 32kWh or 45.1kWh battery pack which are capable of giving a range of up to 300 km and 400 km respectively. The weight of the new BYD model may be between 1430 kg to 1540 kg.

According to the information, the length of the new Atto 2 will be 4310mm, width 1830mm and height 1675mm. It is approximately 140 mm shorter than the Atto 3. 

If reports are to be believed, the Atto 2 could get a front-mounted electric motor with either 94 bhp power or 174 bhp power, which will be inspired by the BYD Dolphin hatchback. The battery of this electric car will come with the facility of fast charging.
