Good news for thousands of home buyers... Demand letter sent, registration expected

Yamuna Authority News: After the report of Amitabh Kant Committee, lakhs of flat buyers of Noida-Greater Noida are waiting for registry. After the process is started by the authority, 12000 home buyers may get good news. 

Working further on the committee's report, Yamuna Development Authority (YIDA) has started the process of registry of about 9000 home buyers of eight builders. Apart from this, Greno Authority has also sent a demand letter to 14 builders to deposit 25 percent of the outstanding amount.

60 days time to deposit the dues

The builders have been given 60 days time by the authority to deposit the dues of Rs 100 crore. According to the news published in Amar Ujala, the officials of the authority said that most of the builders will deposit 25 percent of the outstanding amount in January. 

It is expected that the process related to the registry of 3000 flat buyers of Greater Noida will start from March 1. Yamuna Development Authority will also start sending demand letters to builders by the end of January.

Hearing of 52 builders has been completed.

Let us tell you that work has been started by Greater Noida Authority to implement the recommendations given by Amitabh Kant. In this regard, the authority has also sent a demand letter to 14 builders to deposit the outstanding amount. 

According to officials, the authority owes around Rs 3600 crore to 96 builders. In the first phase, the hearing of 52 builders has been completed. The hearing of builders in the second phase is also expected to start soon.

Greno Authority owes dues to 96 builders

Officials expressed hope that out of the 96 builders who have dues, about 70 builders will deposit the money. About 60,000 home buyers will benefit from this. Currently, through demand letter, it has been asked to deposit the dues of Rs 100 crore within 60 days. 

With this, the registration process of 3000 home buyers will be started in the initial phase. The registry of about 9000 flat buyers is pending in the projects of eight builders in the Yamuna Authority area.

Yamuna Authority has calculated its dues. In the coming time, after getting it passed by the board, a demand letter will be sent to the builders for payment of 25 percent of the outstanding amount. 

Yamuna Authority CEO Dr. Arunveer Singh said that demand letters will be given to builders to start the registry of buyers. It is expected that the registry work will be completed by mid-March.
