A big gift from the government to pregnant women on Rakshabandhan in Madhya Pradesh, they can get sonography done for free

Madhya Pradesh News: Before Rakshabandhan in Madhya Pradesh, Mohan Yadav government has given a big Rakshabandhan gift to pregnant women. Now ultrasound will be done for free at any government or private center in the state.
Now pregnant women of the state will not have to go to community health center, district hospital or medical college for sonography (ultrasound). They will be able to get free sonography by going to a private center. The government will pay for it.
Free testing at private centres too
Women getting tests done at private centres will be given 'e-Rupi' barcode. After scanning it, money will be transferred to the centre operator's account. It will be started as a pilot project at Katju Hospital on 29th July.
This facility will be available free of cost on 9th and 25th of every month. Let us tell you that from 9th August this facility will be started in all the districts of the state. After this, this facility will be available every day.
The government will pay
Health department officials said that pregnant women in the state will be able to get free ultrasound done at community health centers, district hospitals, medical colleges, private hospitals and private sonography centers.
Pregnant women will have to give their name and phone number for this. E-voucher and OTP will be sent to the mobile. Women will be given e-rupi barcode after verification.
After scanning, the prescribed amount will be sent to the account of the sonography center operator. The government will pay for it.
How will the scheme work?
The pregnant woman will have to give her name and phone number at the community health center. After this, an e-voucher will be generated at the CHC. An OTP will be sent to the mobile before verification. After verification, the operator will be able to do the ultrasound.
How will the payment be made?
Women will be given 'e-Rupee' barcode. This voucher is a QR code. As soon as it is scanned, Rs 500 will be transferred to the operator's account.
How many centres are there in Bhopal?
CMHO Dr. Prabhakar Tiwari said that barcodes have been given to 30 sonography centres in Bhopal.
